Correction
We stand corrected. In discussing the difference
between glutamic acid found in unprocessed, unfermented, unadulterated
protein, and processed free glutamic acid (MSG), (the substance that causes
brain damage and adverse reactions), we have referred to the unwanted
byproducts that accompany MSG as "contaminants", when we should have been
calling them "impurities". "Contaminants" generally come from outside
sources. "Impurities" occur as a result of manufacture. The
unwanted byproducts accompanying MSG are not contaminants. They are
impurities.
